When you make excuses you aren’t taking responsibility. When you make excuses consistently you are locking in a limiting pattern that becomes habitual. Thinking this way will prevent you from living and experiencing life to the full and will hinder your success.
2.Not taking action.
Great ideas can be awesome. Reading books and learning can be fascinating and inspirational. However, at some stage, knowledge must be turned into action. Without action you run the risk of stalling, like a sailing ship at sea when there is no wind. Going nowhere! Even better is when we know how to act in the best way by understanding and making friends with our brain.
Procrastination is the biggest assassin of your time and your future success. 4. Negative Self Talk
Your thoughts are the seeds of your future results and your words have great power. Your mind will reap whatever you sow, regardless of whether it serves you or not. So, quit all negative self talk right now. This one act will transform your life when you do it consistently.

5. Pleasing everyone
Society and upbringing often teaches us to do things for others first. However, if you don’t take care of your needs first, how will you have energy for others? Remember the safety talk at the beginning of a flight? They tell you to put your mask on first before you help anyone else. Learn the art of saying no and consider your needs first sometimes. try it out. Quit in 2016 pleasing everyone. It will be liberating and empowering.
6. Trying to be perfect
We are human beings not human perfects. Unless you are training for a gold medal in gymnastics, cease striving for perfection. In the long term it causes chronic internal stress, devalues self worth and often manifests in health issues and dis-ease.
7. Smoking, drinking too much
What we put into our body is fundamental to everything in life – energy levels, health and longevity, future enjoyment and future results.
